Welcome to Dermasutra.in (“Website”, “Platform”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By accessing or using our services, including the website, mobile application, or any other feature or tool provided by Dermasutra.in, you agree to be bound by the following Terms of Service (“Terms”). These Terms constitute a legal agreement between you and Dermasutra Technologies Private Limited (the operator of Dermasutra.in). Please read them carefully.
- ABOUT DERMASUTRA.IN
Dermasutra.in is an aggregator platform providing:
- Skincare product recommendations based on user-submitted assessments validated by certified dermatologists.
- Online consultations (video/audio/chat) with licensed dermatologists across India.
- Educational resources and tools for improving skincare awareness.
We do not manufacture or directly sell any skincare products. Our services are intended to complement—not replace—professional, in-person medical care.
- DEFINITIONS
For the purpose of these Terms:
- “User” refers to any individual who accesses or uses the Platform.
- “Practitioner” refers to a licensed dermatologist registered with the Platform.
- “Content” refers to all information, text, graphics, photos, videos, or other materials uploaded, downloaded, or appearing on the Platform.
- “Services” refers to all features, functionalities, and offerings provided through the Platform.
- “Consultation” refers to any interaction between a User and a Practitioner facilitated through the Platform.
- ELIGIBILITY
To use the Services offered by Dermasutra.in, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age, or be supervised by a parent or legal guardian.
- Be competent to enter into a legally binding contract under Indian law.
- Possess the legal authority to provide valid consent as required under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Indian Contract Act, 1872.
If you are accessing the Platform on behalf of a minor, you affirm that you are legally authorized to provide consent on their behalf and take full responsibility for their compliance with these Terms.
- ACCOUNT REGISTRATION
4.1 Registration Process
To access certain features such as consultations or personalized recommendations, you may be required to create an account. You agree to:

- Offered by verified and licensed dermatologists registered with relevant medical councils in India.

- Subject to availability and professional discretion of the Practitioner.
- Conducted in accordance with the Telemedicine Practice Guidelines issued by the Medical Council of India.
Dermasutra.in does not interfere in the consultation process and is not liable for the advice or service provided by the dermatologists.
5.3 Educational Content
- Informational articles, videos, and resources related to skincare.
- General wellness tips and guidance.
- Product reviews and comparisons.
Such content is provided for educational purposes only and should not be construed as medical advice.
- USER OBLIGATIONS
6.1 General Obligations
Users must:
- Provide complete and truthful information.
- Use the Services ethically and lawfully.
- Refrain from misusing, spamming, harassing, or impersonating others.
- Not share content that is obscene, defamatory, or violates any third-party rights.
- Not use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable local, state, national, or international law.
6.2 Medical Information
When sharing medical information, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information about your medical history, symptoms, and conditions.
- Promptly update any changes to your medical information.

6.3 Emergency Situations

- PRACTITIONER COMMITMENTS
Practitioners on our Platform commit to:
- Maintaining valid medical licenses and credentials as required by Indian law.
- Providing services in accordance with professional medical standards.
- Adhering to the Telemedicine Practice Guidelines issued by the Medical Council of India.
- Maintaining appropriate medical records in compliance with applicable regulations.
- Respecting user privacy and confidentiality.
Dermasutra.in verifies practitioners’ credentials but is not responsible for their professional advice or services.
- PAYMENTS AND REFUNDS
8.1 Fee Structure
- All applicable fees will be clearly displayed before you confirm any paid service.
- Fees may vary based on the type of service, practitioner specialty, consultation duration, or other factors.
- All fees are inclusive of applicable taxes as per Indian taxation laws.
8.2 Payment Methods
- Payments can be made through various methods including credit/debit cards, net banking, UPI, or other electronic payment systems available on the Platform.
- All transactions are processed through secure payment gateways in compliance with the Payment and Settlement Systems Act, 2007.

8.4 Technical Failures
If a consultation cannot be completed due to technical failures on our end, we will:
- Reschedule the consultation at no additional cost, or
- Process a full refund at your request.

- We collect and process personal and medical information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable laws including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and its rules.

- You have the right to access your medical records maintained on the Platform.
- Records are maintained in compliance with the Electronic Health Record Standards, 2016 issued by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Platform for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.
11.3 Restrictions

- INDEMNIFICATION
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Dermasutra Technologies Private Limited, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising out of or in any way connected with:
- Your access to or use of the Platform.
- Your violation of these Terms.
- Your violation of any third-party right, including privacy or intellectual property rights.
- Any content you submit, post, or transmit through the Platform.
- TERMINATION
14.1 Termination by Us
